Pitch altered echoes of three different recordings of my voice.

This is me, doing some pseudo latin voice over work for an audio play i'm working on. Basically this consists of 2 vo layers. One normally spoken, but pitched, the other one just whispering the same text in synch with the first layer. Add some fancy reverb and there you have your evil demon chant.

This was created for a "shadow demon" creature for an animated series. The clip was made using a voice clip with some audio editing. Enjoy.

Please rate if you like this sound :). This is my voice. I was trying to recreate a similar sound to those of the shrieking nazgul creatures in lord of the rings. They are referred to as different things but overall a creepy, evil, raspy, breathy type screeching sound. I created this with a type of practiced scream on a blue yeti usb condenser microphone. I recorded in audacity and added some reverb, fade in, and fade out. It was originally for a video game voice over audition. I also have the original with no fx if needed. My example/inspiration were the creatures in lord of the rings, fellowship of the ring. They are also called the fell riders and the black wings (when they ride the fell beasts), as well as the shadows, the servants of sauron, and the nine servants of the lord of the rings. The orcs of the tower of cirith ungol call them shriekers. I download from this site often, so i thought i would return the favor :). Feel free to contact me with any other requests!. Sound is me being gross! setup: mic, into eq, into stereo pedal (used as a signal splitter-- one signal went to one multi effect on a pitch-down setting, the other into a second multi effect on a pitch-up setting. ), into stereo delay (no delay added, though. ) burp. . .

Man, this is extremely old! so old that i actually had to pitch it down, because my voice was higher back then, lmao. I literally just growled into my mic and added some paulstretch and reverb, and then pitched it down a bit. It's meant to be like a monster or demon being angered or awoken in an indoors area or something like that.

I turned a corny "grr" into this. Feel free to use it but use credit. Comment below on how you like it, or where you will use it.

Several different screams that can be used for monsters/monster sound effects. I recorded these with my voice and a neumann tlm 102, and processed them heavily. There is a bit of reverb/space to give them depth.

When i first tested out my zoom h5 i began talking into the mic and then all of a sudden i needed a sneeze. I was about to stop the recording but then thought it would be good to record the sneeze to see how it handled my loudness. Well it coped very well and the recording came out perfect!i then played around with it in audacity and slowed it down -86% which makes me sound like a roaring lion. So i thought i'd upload this slowed down version too!.

Just joined. Here's my first submission :). Recorded a few samples of "voice horror", a friend and i were going to make a short film but it never panned out. Basically the sound is a "disembodied voice" recorded on some tech that the entity damaged the quality or something. Used several filters and a vocoder. The idea was to vocalize the first parts in a way that it would be hard to understand, having the viewer listen more closely, and build the fear with the audible phrase ". . . And now there's somebody living on the other side of the wall and i think he can see usssss".

Created this for a yt video and i use a lot of sfx from this awesome awesome resource (thank you so much) so i want to start giving back as much as i can. I created the sound by recording it directly into audacity then adjusting the pitch down 30%. Thats it really :-) thanks.
